On 2014 Carlos wanted to portray his Latino ancestry in one of his projects and he released his first solo single titled Eléctrico, which was totally on Spanish.
Later on 2015 he was a contestant on season 21 of Dancing with The Stars.
On 2016 he participated on a live version of Grease produced by Fox.
That same year he also participated on a Nickelodeon series called Loud House, giving his voice to one of the recurring characteres.
Middle of 2017 he released another Spanish single titled Bésame.
During 2018 he starred on a The CW series called Life Sentence, which it lasted one season.
Apart from participating on acting productions, he has a youtube channel, where he upload video vlogs frequently about his and his family lifestyle.
